SkyUC Intro Guide and Portal Overview

All users will receive a welcome email from to setup they’re Web access and voicemail PIN.

Once complete you may navigate to and login with the username provided in the Welcome Email and the password you setup.

Home Page will provide you with:

  • User controls to view voicemails, fax, contacts, change answering rules, time frames, MOH and reporting
  • snippet of recent voicemails and recent call list
  • Ability to change answering rules on the fly
  • A view of your active phones/softphones
  • Apps will bring you to the Attendant console
  • Contacts Widget

Attendant Console (found under apps in the top right of portal)

  • Allows you to control any of your registered devices, for example; if you make a call from the console all of your registered devices will ring, pick up the device you wish to make the call from and the system will then make the call. From there the console will have full control of the call to Park, transfer, conference, etc.
  • You can create contact groups and organize as you please. System contacts will show presence.
  • Park slots on your left will display the caller ID of the call on park.

  • Mailbox options
  • Operator FWD: option to designate an extn to send to if caller presses zero during greeting
  • Copy your voicemails to other users
  • Ability to Record, upload or use the built-in text to speech to populate your personal greeting and recorded name. Recorded name is used for our dial by name directory


  • Users will fax capabilities can review Inbox and sent faxes from the portal.
  • Download or view the inbound fax
  • Send a fax from the portal
  • Choose cover page options
  • Upload a document from your PC
  • Choose the fax number you wish to send from
  • Enter the fax number you are sending to


  • Reporting for an individual user is basically a fancy call history tab
  • If user had elevated permissions, you would have access to the call reports for all users and call center reports
  • Cradle to Grave reporting
  • Click to call any hyperlinked number
  • Listen and download any recorded calls if enabled
  • Add or edit contact based on caller ID
  • Filter time frame

ConnectUC Softphone

While logged into the portal, on the top right of the page there is an “Apps” drop down menu, choose ConnectUC and login with the same username and password as the portal. : Guide for the ConnectUC softphone : Guide to install on Desktop

Mobile app and Integrations

  • ConnectUC is fully integrated with SkyUC and is supported on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and a Chrome browser
  • The Mobile and Desktop app is included with every user.
  • Search ConnectUC in the App Store or the Google Play Store

      • Outlook Add-in: This Add-In for MS Outlook will identify phone numbers in emails and contacts and convert them into clickable links that initiate a call with your PBX account.
